8th Grade Girls Win Championship!

St. Anastasia 8th Grade Girls win conference championship Winning the conference championship was the plan for the St. Anastasia 8th Grade Girls Volleyball Team today, and the girls delivered with 2-0, 2-0 wins over St. Gilbert's and St. Joe's in the tournament held at Carmel Catholic High School.  The games were not the high-pressure contests that we've seen throughout the year. Today the girl's rolled along, playing loose and laughing and joking with each other during the timeouts.

In the stands, families that have followed their girls since they started playing together in 4th grade relaxed and cheered, and talked about how far they've come.  Everyone credits coaches Caroline and Meagan for the sucess we've enjoyed over the years. Thank you both for sharing your time and talents with the St. Anastasia girls volleyball team.

Earlier this week, the girl's took both St. Mary's and OLH 2-0 each to finish the regular conference season undefeated.

Athletic Director Renews Appeal for New (better, less biased) Writers for Website

Echoing her statements made at the end of last season, Cathy Brolley, St. Anastasia Athletic Director, again asked for parent-volunteers to submit articles and photos from their children's sporting events for use on GoTerriers.org.  "We have many children participating in our sports program," said Kathy. "but pretty much it's you-know-who writing abut his own kid. We could use a proofreaders to." Interested parents should contact Cathy.
