Congratulations to The Beastin Ballers, winners of Div A (Little Dog) Bracket; and to The Caucasian Asian Invasion, winner of the Div B (as in Big Dog) Bracket.

We had 19 Teams, 10 hours of basketball; and +40 games all in one day.

Thanks to everyone who helped out. Thanks to Tony and Fritz and John for Reffin'. Thanks to Gabby for running the concession stand all day (what? no breaks?) and Byron for keeping score. Thank to the guys at the scorring table, to Bill and Cathie for running the tournament and to Caroline for planning and scheduling.

Oh, and of course, many thanks to fans for showing-up and cheering on the teams.

Many thanks to the families that attended the St. Anastasia Fall Awards Night on Saturday, November 21, 2009. We all had a great time recognizing the players and coaches of our Football, Volleyball and Cheerleading teams.

The evening began at 5pm mass where the students were applauded by the congregation. Afterwards, we met downstairs in the church hall for dinner. The event was lead by Assistant Athletic Director, Cathie Brolley who kept things moving along smoothly.

A special thanks to Fr. Aloy and Mrs. Mon who were on hand to congratulate the kids and coaches.

Look for the news of the upcoming Spring Awards Night and plan on attending.  It's great fun for the kids.
